About Ivy Noelle Weir

Hi there!
My name is Ivy Noelle Weir, and I'm a writer of comics, prose, and essays. Thank you so much for visiting my Patreon page!

Maybe you know me from Archival Quality, my graphic novel co-created with Steenz Stewart (and the 2019 winner of the Dwayne McDuffie Award for Diversity in Comics). Maybe you've followed my library career and read some of my writing for outlets like NovelList and American Libraries, or you've seen me speak about pop culture and/or librarianship at NYCC, ECCC, ALA conferences, or venues like UCLA or Rutgers University. Maybe you've followed me since wayyyy back when I was writing for the excellent Women Write About Comics or posting comic reviews and thoughts on my own blog. Or maybe you just like my tweets, of which there are many. Regardless of how you got here, I'm thrilled that you've encountered my writing somewhere!

In addition to giving my patrons looks at new writing and a peek into my process, I'm also really excited to be able to share the knowledge I've gained after almost ten years working in comics,  from creator to librarian to retailer to publishing professional, by offering a Q&A tier. And I'm particularly excited about the Ghost Club, which holds me accountable for writing a new spooky short story once a month.

Your support means that I can keep my head above water financially as I continue to follow my lifelong dream of writing. I can't thank you enough!
