The goal of the Patreon is to make better product reviews. I want to be able to respond to the communities interests, and review what they want to see. The Patreon will support product purchases, so I'm not reliant on manufacturers giving free/loaner units which can inhibit impartiality. I don't want to keep the products I review either - I want to give them away to the community that helped fund their review.

I've worked in coffee for nearly 15 years now, doing a variety of things. I've been passionate about sharing what I've learned for a long time now, and have a blog at www.jimseven.com. I am also the author of the World Atlas of Coffee, the 2nd edition of which has just been released.

More recently I've begun using video as a way to share and communicate ideas. As part of this I've been reviewing coffee products to try and give fair, insightful and balanced reviews.

I'll also be making some exclusive content for the Patreon audience too!
