In 1996 I learned mindfulness by accident - it changed my life. I kept returning to the present, over and over again. I began to observe the thoughts and emotions that kept coming and going, and realised that I was not those thoughts and emotions. I was something much more than that. 

At the time I was completely stuck in terms of my health, relationships, career and finances. I'd been making a huge mental and physical effort for years, but it wasn't working any more, so I decided to let go instead. My life began to change dramatically for the better. Since then I've learned many other techniques, including Transcendental Meditation and completion. I realised that everything that works involves letting go - hence the working title of my new book, The Power of Letting Go. (My agent is showing it to publishers.)

A friend and I are now working on a new venture which will help millions of other people to succeed by letting go. I hope you'll join us.
