For the past 11
years, I have had the opportunity to share great music and exclusive
interviews. I have always believed that
my content should be free and accessible to everyone and never hidden behind a
paywall; and this is the way it will always be.
100% of funding goes into the content; I (Sean) have not taken a dime and will continue to draw no revenue for myself
My show can be heard on the radio in Upstate NY, Southern VT, and Western MA; however it can be streamed anywhere around the world on my website www.jpopexchange.net.
On my website, you can stream current and past shows, listen to (or read transcripts of) my exclusive interviews, and read articles relating to gaming, anime and Japanese culture.
The simple fact is The J-Pop Exchange stopped being a hobby and started being a job long ago; and it requires a lot of time and effort to produce.
The realities are that between translation, procuring new music and upgrading computer and recording equipment, my show has become very expensive to produce.
I hope to continue to grow and expand my show with more great music and exclusive interviews. I also hope to create a documentary that will emphasize community, music and culture in the next 1-2 years.
Your support would be greatly appreciated!
