Be My Art Supporter

Yes! An artist has to be talented, resilient, having confidence in him/herself, supported, and part of a community.

An artist needs a lot of time and energy for building his/her artistic career.

An artist needs money for everything... for buying utilities, for promoting his/her art online and offline, for join in competitions, for having a solo show in a gallery.

Would you like to support an artist?

Did you ever think about that kind of action? Yes, I say action, because support someone takes courage as creativity takes it.

Being a supporter means that you take care of someone. When you support an artist you're not giving money, only and simply. What you give creates a link between you and the artist.

What is Patreon?

I need your help! Fine artists throughout history who enjoyed success during their lifetime have had financial backing from patrons of the arts. Whether from kings and queens, the church, wealthy patrons, or just supportive family (consider Vincent van Gogh's brother, Theo), artists of old could continue to create regularly without depending on sales, because the had the financial backing to do so. Without that financial support, magnificent masterpieces could never have been created. Can you imagine a world without art?

Patreon is a crowdfunding platform similar to an ongoing Kickstarter, in that you pledge a certain amount (in my case, monthly) in order to support an artist. It's a great way to tip those you admire and show them your support so they can continue to create amazing things!

So why support me on Patreon?

Well, for one thing you would have my eternal gratitude, but besides that I've got a selection of cool rewards and perks lined up.

For You:

If you become a patron, that means you relate somehow to what I am doing and want to become more involved. Your patronage is a token of appreciation. Its like saying, “good job, I like what your doing and I think there should be more of it in the world.” That symbiotic relationship makes the struggles of art-making worthwhile.

Patrons will receive exclusive posts and benefits like, details about my creative process. Patrons will develop a deeper level of engagement with the art.

For Me:

A deeper connection to like-minded people:

These past few years I began using social media and I love how it has given me a sense of community. My work is solitary and I am an introvert, I just happen to need a lot of alone time. One of the reasons I make art works is because it connects me to other people. I put something out there of myself - someone likes it - we feel validated that our existence has meaning. That is pretty incredible.

A little financial support:

As an artist, there is no regularity to my income and that makes it very difficult to focus on the most important thing- artwork that has deep meaning to me and can contribute something to society.

Then, I ask you -

DO YOU WANT TO BE MY ART SUPPORTER?

Do you want to stay connected with me?

Do you like my art, and wish me a long artistic career?

You do... Great! It makes me very happy. I thank you so much! Really.

Now... how can you support me and my art?

1) PURCHASE one of my Artworks on my Website.

2) DONATE.

If you donate more than €100 ($125) I'll send you a small size personally signed limited edition print for free!

So what do Patrons get in return?
Patron's get access to my sketches and works in progress, time lapse videos and gifs, and other content before anyone else!  You get it first!

Along with these perks, I've included various digital rewards for each tier, things like 15-25% discount codes for my store/commissions, and free screen savers! I also have 3 tiers with physical rewards that you can get delivered directly to your mailbox every month!

Please note: Pledges are charged up front and at the beginning of each month thereafter. For example, if you pledge on the 20th of June, you will be charged instantly for the month of June. You will be charged again on the first of July for the following month. All rewards and discount codes will be sent after pledges have been processed.

So there you have it. Thank you for taking the time to read through this, and an even bigger thank you if you decide to become a Patron!

  • Funding will enable me to:
  • Create artworks more consistently, by providing needed tools and supplies.
  • Invest in merchandising and licensing my artwork.
  • Advertise my artworks, set up exhibitions, take part in competitions and to attend workshops.
  • Continue to share my talent through online services and newsletters.
