About Cranky Coyote

Hello and welcome to my Patreon! My name is Cranky Coyote, I also go by # (Hash). By becoming a part of my Patreon you will be helping me to finally focus my time and energy into a project which has been a dream of mine for many years. I have been creating a homebrewed campaign world to share with the D&D world for some time now. I have tried to use Kickstarter to fund Erova in the past but it did not pan out in the end.

I've still been very much at work adding content and polishing what is there as I run games to playtest the various portions. So far the response has been rather good and I'm getting to a point where it is only the artwork holding me back. I am hoping to be able to not only spread my passion to others in the community we build as this grows but be able to give back as others have given to me. Much of what I plan to release will be free to the community as a whole but I'll always have my heart with those that helped me get there.

This is very much a work in progress for me. I'm branching out to new areas for the first time and am putting out my work for others to see. I will eventually be recording my weekly sessions of groups who are playtesting content. We will be live-streaming those on Twitch but the Videos will be on Patreon before anywhere else.

In the time between those and our full release I plan to offer the following:

Dev Vlogs
Behind the Scenes
Creation of Erova in Real-time
Theorycrafting and Loresmithing

PDF and Doc releases of:

Various length adventures from one page to full modular questlines.
Dungeon Layouts
Lair Layouts
Creature Statblocks
Trap Ideas
Encounter Ideas
Combat, Social, Travel, Environmental

Roll20 prepared content of:

Multi-Sided Creature Tokens
Macros, Macros, Macros!
Pregen Characters from levels 1 to 20
GM Tools

I have many things planned for the full release of the content including but not limited to: A mini-series comic based on significant past events in lore. A dedicated "West Marches" style run discord server for Erova with paid GM's, a dedicated animated adventure edited for Youtube and various playthroughs of live games streamed on Twitch.

And finally the core game: The full one to twenty campaign with easily hundreds of hours of the main storyline that winds through the continent of Isolux; weaving the intense story of the plight of its people in the coming days. One can play from the side of the hero or that of the villains as they make names for themselves. Three nations vying for power while the coming darkness threatens to wipe them all out. With so much content it is almost impossible to touch on it all in one playthrough making it extremely fertile for replay value.

The concept of Erova was built in the very early stages around allowing many players to adventure together at once. While it can just as easily be played with a party of four I believe the best gameplay comes from multiple parties taking on the task of surviving in the game world. Often clashing for that next contract with the local merchant guild or mercenary guild. All the while the living world is functioning with or without their input allowing for an eventual end game that the players might not even be ready for. Every action will reshape the world around them as they interact and interfere with; creating for nigh infinite replayability.

Much of it is already in a finished and play testable state when it comes to the data. Seeing as I am not an artist though most of the artwork is not mine and as such, the project is still far from finished. All support will go towards making this dream a reality and then to keep the dream alive.

Be sure to check us out at our Discord and social media to help us grow the wonderful community that this can be.
