Kitty Fleischman

is creating Curated Images of Idaho
Thanks for visiting my Patreon page. I’m Kitty Fleischman: publisher, writer, grandmother, racecar driver, and relentless curator of the best images of Idaho from photographers around the state.

Several years ago, I decided to crowdsource and display online images of Idaho—one of the country’s least-populated and most-scenic states.

I started a Facebook page, which currently has more than seventy-two thousand likes and an average weekly reach of about a quarter-million.

I communicate with people, collect, and post breathtaking images throughout the day, every day of the week. It’s mainly what I do, and I love it—but unfortunately, it’s unpaid.

This is nothing new, as I haven’t been able to take payment of any kind for more than a decade from the magazine I started, IDAHO magazine, which publishes personal stories set in Idaho written by people from all walks of life.

When I discovered Patreon, I saw that the creative act of curating and publishing the photos of others could be rewarded by my followers.

What a change that would be!

If you like what I do for photographers and photography-lovers, please make a monthly pledge of one dollar or more—whatever you can manage to help me keep putting in the hours every day for our mutual pleasure.
