I love what I do. Truly. Helping people reduce their oxalate intake and get healthy is a passion for me.

But I didn't start here... I fell into the world of oxalate by accident, when my daughter was very young. She had ongoing health issues (including strange rashes) and and our naturopathic doctor suggested a low oxalate diet. He didn't have anyone in his office who could help - I would have to figure it out by myself. Long story short, I decided to be an example to my daughter, and to eat low oxalate with her. Imagine my shock when my own health issues, including insomnia, low thyroid, poor digestion, brain fog and low immunity all started to improve! That got my attention. My ND had never suggested a low oxalate diet for me.

Over a decade later, my daughter is well and her rashes gone; I've got more energy than I've had in 20 years; and my new career is in full swing. This way of eating has changed my life! And I've been working with clients over 5 years, helping them to change their lives.

Could this be something that would help you?

Here's the challenge: oxalate and its impact on health is largely unrecognized. I had to fumble my way through, stumbling into what worked and what didn't. One of the biggest difficulties is how to apply the diet, including how to eat good food and be low oxalate. The other big difficulty is gaining an understanding of how oxalate might be affecting you - and those you love.

This is where I come in. It's important to know where you are now, and how to get where you want to go. And that makes a clear perspective from someone who is doing ongoing learning, reading the research and participating in learning environments critical. But you also need practical tools like recipes and meal plans. Developing all this takes time.

So here’s my question: what if you and I become partners in this work?

What your subscription to my Patreon site does is allow me to have time to connect the dots between research and real life - because that's where the benefits are

As an entry level partner ($5.00+ /month) -- I will be creating short, easy to read posts including topical and interesting health information that’s caught my eye, with low oxalate tips and tricks, plus recipe hacks. Wondering what to do about a favourite high oxalate ingredient in your current recipes? There’s a substitution for that! And I'll share pictures of the the kinds of meals and dishes we do at my house, or share great ideas from fellow members, to help you with application of the diet.

This is straightforward, practical advice for those who aren't interested in more complex meal planning. You will learn about health and oxalate and how to substitute ingredients. At Level 1 (5$ a month), you are paying only 15 cents a day to subscribe and get information that helps you eat well, while eating low oxalate.

As a second level partner ($15.00+/month) -- You will get all the information provided to our partners in the first level, with much more. Each month will feature a 3 day full meal plan and how it will work with lower oxalate eating. This level aims to help those who are also dealing with more complex dietary situations. There will also be more in-depth articles on the research I'm reading, and how it applies to improving your health - with a special focus on oxalate, as well as touching on other common health issues among members.

The monthly 3 day meal plan will cover breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and snacks with all the corresponding recipes, which build in the complexity of low oxalate and show you how you thrive and eat well. We will be looking at many of the common therapeutic diets and how you do that and stay low oxalate. Don't be put off by fancy exclusions - many meal plans will work for anyone, even if you don’t have the specific issue, intolerance or allergy that's being covered. The idea will be to expand your food horizons! You will see that even if you have a limited food list, your life doesn't have to be about deprivation.

At Level two ($15 a month), you are getting everything from Level one, with more in-depth information, bigger articles and that monthly menu plan all for only 50 cents a day! (Your daily coffee costs more...)

I look forward to you joining me. 😃
