Eos, the Mental Health Support App.

I'm developing a new, ambitious, and supportive mental health app, called Eos. Eos is a multi-part app, with a consistent user flow. It is currently at version 1.0, released on January 1st, and features the following:
  1. Mood tracking using a scale from -2 to 2, acknowledging difficulties individuals with conditions such as autism have reported having with more precise scales (such as the classical "Please rate how you feel from 1 to 10"). Furthermore, bright, vibrant colours and friendly language encourages happier emotions, making the user feel less clinical.
  2. Appropriate response to each mood, such as asking the user (non-compulsorily) to provide a positive comment about themselves in preparation for negative moods if they rate above 0 (read: good / happy), or listing such positive thoughts off and providing helpful information and resources when they rate -2 (extremely negative).
  3. User-to-user one-on-one chat sessions, allowing users to listen to other users, assist them with their problems, and have it reciprocated in return - essentially, users "helping each other to help themselves". This has been found beneficial in the past when on a depressed person's terms, hence why users can choose to partake in such activity and are entitled to leave and/or report a chat session at any time, should they feel the need. Noting the sensitive nature of the application, however, all messages are softly passed through a non-learning neural network (that is, the neural network / AI is taught from other sources, and nothing from Eos is stored) to identify potentially hurtful comments, to help prevent negative results through checking with the sender that they're sure the message is suitable to send. (Naturally, chats can be reported by either party to be investigated by humans and acted upon.)

This app, however, features a lot of network activity, and is still, as is the case with any app, under ongoing development. This process costs, which is why I'm appealing to fans and those who are generous to support the goal of this project, and why I eternally thank all patrons - both past and present - for their support in this endeavor.
