Mackenzie Lageson is creating some nasty comic books.

Why, hello there.
My name is Mackenzie Lageson – no, I'm not a woman, just Irish (sorry) – coming to you from the abysmally rain-drenched lands of Portland, Oregon. From the very moment I escaped the womb, I’ve been drawing freaky trash. As a matter of fact, I learned to draw freaky trash before I could speak; since gaining both of these skills, I’ve not been able to stop doing either. The thundercloud of existential dread hangs heavily above me, and the need to create is like a fever inside of my bones. Be it illustration, writing, composition, or anything between, I cannot suppress the desire to make stuff. However, this mentality has essentially rendered me a homeless person. That's where you can help me. Maybe we can help each other (I apologize – this is the pitch I’m used to giving, working nights in the alley behind the 24 Hour Fitness).

What you get.
Over the past year, I’ve launched a successful Kickstarter, illustrated three issues of a comic book, and finished writing a novel. There is no time for a “traditional” occupation in there. There’s hardly time to breathe, if we’re being honest. And the pay has been sparse, to put it nicely.

Now, for the past sixty or so days, I have given unceremonious birth to some sort of illustration, one image produced per every waking period. Currently I have two major graphic novels in the works, and yet another prose novel sitting on the back-burner. These are presently what I have to offer, and surely the ever-growing list of projects will expand as time passes. You will find all of them here, and I will continue to post new entries for as long as this Patreon exists.
My aim is to produce a page a day, every day, for the rest of my natural life.
This has been my state of living for the past two months, and it’s something I deeply enjoy. Additionally (and far more importantly), it’s something I can share with the world. Something I can share with you. Of course, there are the odd days when I’m rendered incapable of drawing anything, but those occasions have been quite few and infrequent. The drive to produce is overwhelming, and the fear of withering into a mindless husk is absolutely petrifying.
With any support, I will (literally) live to bring you my greasy art.
This will be full-time. I will bleed for you, baby.
Whatever you have to offer, it will grant access to everything I’ve got now, and all that is to come.

Thank you loads for reading this - I sincerely hope to share my work with you.

Goals
10 of 100 patrons
In the absurd case that I reach 100 patrons, I'll let you guys have significantly more say in where the comics go (perhaps including Necrophobia, for the most part, as I'm not its primary author). It seems like an interesting experiment, and a crowd of this size could turn out some fascinating results.

Keep in mind, nothing is "off-limits" to me. Let's set up some polls and make this interesting.
