About Mairav Zonszein

I am a freelance journalist with bylines in the New York Times, Washington Post, Vice, The Intercept, The New York Review of Books, Foreign Policy, and more. I write mostly on Israel/Palestine and its role in U.S. politics, with a focus on censorship and free speech, and the weaponization of antisemitism.

I am one of the founding editors and a regular contributor to +972 Magazine, a news outlet independently owned by Israelis and Palestinians.

I recently relocated back to the U.S. after many years in Israel and am pursuing journalism full time. If you have read my work over the years or have just started, I would be very grateful for your support.
