They are generally ink & colored pencil. Almost all of them are Abstract Portraits.
I sign, & number, and add my website address to the back of each card.
This will be an "Art Care Package"! Some original artwork, in a shipping envelope, sent to you.
When I send these out, I usually include one or two more "finished pieces" and a handful quick pen drawings on various materials. Some will be colored—Some will be pen.
Additionally I will ad some of my original "Art Trading Cards" which are 3.5 by 2.5 inches and have my info on the back.
About Matt Vaillette
Doing art heals me. I've avoided the hospital and depression since I started doing art full time, in 2012. I'm disabled because I am severely bipolar. Art is just fantastic therapy for me.
Doing art also fulfills my goals of creating social change. Collectively my art is a whole bunch of interesting abstract portraits, that speak out about Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. I'm also talking with people about leading an art show with similar themes, including local disabled artists.
Doing art is a potential means of financial independence. Most jobs make me sick from the stress. Art does the opposite. I can work for 16+ hours each day and feel good by each evening. My artistic work is meaningful, and I love it!!
Your donations are a message of support to me, my health, and my vote for social change in my community. Each penny supports what I stand for!!
