I started growing cannabis about 2.5 years ago. I found a bag seed in some really good bud that I had and decided to plant it in a margarine container to see what would happen. To my surprise, It sprouted. I realized then that I had a responsibility to make sure that it survived. I gave it light and slowly realized I was getting in way over my head. I put it in my closet but after some time I realized I needed more lights, so I bought some more CFL bulbs. It grew. Then it started to smell... and then I realized that they sell kits and people use tents for a reason. So I went out and bought everything I needed - a tent, carbon filter, fan, some base nutrients and off I went.

I didn’t follow any fee charts and I just fed it however I felt and after a while I realized that my plants hated me. They were all burned, they were small, they were straggly and they didn’t smell very good. I realize after putting in all this work and three months of my time that there had to be a better way. I couldn’t keep growing but that was terrible. I had to figure out a way to grow really good weed from home otherwise it was gonna be a waste of my time.

After my first grow, I went on Reddit and I learned from what other people were doing. I watched what was working and what they were doing different from myself. I learned how to pH my nutrients solutions and everything started to turn around the second time I grew some weed.

I got kind of lucky when one of my images went viral on Reddit and even got to r/all. I was bombarded with questions and everyone wanted to know how I grew this really big bud. So I answered everyone’s questions one at a time.

I kept contributing to the community and over time developed a reputation for being an active member and being a reliable source of information.

I enjoy teaching others what I’ve learned on my journey and like to give back as much as possible. I answer growing related questions about deficiencies, techniques, feeding, harvesting, curing and consuming cannabis in all its forms.
