Besides living and breathing Mechs, I'm noted for both artistic virtuosity and extreme versatility in almost all facets of art and design. I combine diplomas in Graphic Design, 2-D Animation, and Computer Animation with over nineteen years experience demonstrating a remarkable breadth of facility: as a technical illustrator; graphic designer; background, character, and prop designer for animated cartoons; art outsourcing manager for video games; design instructor; and as a modeler, senior concept artist, and lead artist on console and mobile video games including numerous AAA titles and finally as an experienced Art Director. Recently I've worked on Hololens VR R&D and emerging tech, and at the moment I'm working as one of the marketing artists collaborating on Xbox at Microsoft HQ, Redmond.

Okay, so basically that's me. Oh, I was a cop as well. A Royal Canadian Mountie no less. :)

Mainly I will provide hands on, real time drawings of my professional mechs showing the technical process and describing my visualization methods and thinking process. The tools are basic but that's always the case, it's what is in your brain and the accumulated experience from years of doing that matters, and that's some of what I would like to convey to you. I will also keep my posts updated with descriptions. Most I work with pencil but will do pen and marker from time to time, use Sketchbook Pro and create full color mechs using photoshop.
