Bonjour! I’m an illustrator and occasional designer currently residing in Provence, France. Amongst my influences will you find folklore, nature, frills or litterature. I'd even venture as far as saying storytelling is the core of my art — even designing websites is a part of that too. Most of my creations are imagined as a potential illustration from a novel! I've included a few samples in this presentation.

For years now I felt like I'm going against the tide when it comes to managing my art career. Long story short, I make overly detailed art, I'm slow, my production is inadequate to an era of daily feeds even if I had more time to dedicate to it so growing an audience is a real struggle for me. And don't you mention Facebook to me: that website is not okay and I cannot have an account there. Now, while the free internet culture is very well rooted in me, that doesn't help much in the way of sustaining my art. Also I don't know how I do it, but I always end up involved with projects with little to no return-on-investment in the near future.

The existence of this Patreon page is linked to my ever-preoccupation of making my art affordable for those who wish to own some of it materially. The last thing I want after everything I stated about how difficult it is for me to get noticed, is that on those rare events my art should resonate with someone, that person would feel like they don't have the means to get involved. But now you can, because this Patreon is like a sophisticated paiement plan. Each sum pledged, however small, counts as an advance for a larger purchase. Or not: maybe it's just a tip for all that free content put out there, you decide.

There isn't any other way I want to do this Patreon thing, especially as Patreon's caveat is the impossibility to stretch one's budget to all of the wonderful choices that are already out there. And the non-spoken rule that defines how it's being handled, ie a pay-and-reward system, or a paywall, couldn't be further from my own ideas about patronage, if not my abilities to deliver special content when I'm already struggling with the time on my hands. There won't be a creator feed here. For one, I already have a portfolio and a blog into which I've already poured soooooo much time and money that I can't possibly take my content somewhere else, and of course I've been too long on the internet to ever trust a third-party platform with said content until all is wiped off when (not if) they decide to sell or discontinue their product!

Thank you for taking the time to read this! I don't expect many people to bother clicking such a link, even less so consider (yet another) patronage so at the very least I want to thank you for your curiosity, and of course generosity should you choose to become a patron.
