Dear friends, thanks for taking the time. I have been very fortunate to spend nearly four years living, practicing and serving in the Community of Plum Village in Southern Spain- a Mindfulness Retreat Centre established by Buddhist Zen Master and God Father of Modern Mindfulness, Thich Nhat Hanh. In these years I have benefitted so much from the mindfulness practices that we integrate into every aspects of our daily life. Thich Nhat Hanh is an individual who has taken these practices out of the Buddhist Monastery and into society to be of service to the world. Moving back to Ireland in early 2019 I wish to serve my community....my community of change makers who are serving to create environmental and social change in this era of climate chaos, gross economic inequality and human suffering. I aspire to offer spaces and experiences from the Plum Village tradition that have benefitted me so that they can benefit others. Offering physical space and mental space where we can gather and share, listen to each other and be still, de-stress and recharge, connect and be nourished. Every penny of your financial help will go to covering the costs of organising this regular days- costs such as room hire, nourishing organic food and travel costs. Thank you all so much for your support, together we can care for each other to create a world we all know is possible.
