I live to create and explore and try most everything at least once.
I've done many things in my 70 years from prospecting among the polar bears of Hudson Bay, to teaching young indigenous teenagers wilderness survival and firearm safety.
I spend a good majority of my time in a remote cabin accessible only by canoe or snow shoe, where I create large welded metal sculptures, impressionistic wilderness paintings and hand forged hunting knives.
I've recently finished a project, 25 years in the making,  that I'm sure will prove to be an interesting adventure for both myself and Patrons.
I designed and fabricated a 26' steel sloop named "Lynx" which should be able to handle ocean sailing.
The maiden voyage was finally realized in the spring of 2017 on Lake Temagami in northern Ontario, where it now sits in 3 feet of ice.
My plan is to have Lynx first transported to Georgian Bay where I plan to explore Lake Huron and search out the many beautiful landscapes, and to capture these with original  paintings that will be rewarded to my Patrons once a month!
I will be taking video through out my journey, and plan on releasing videos hopefully every week.
Once sailing season is over, I will proceed to make high quality videos at my remote cabin as I create my next welded stainless steel sculpture ( a 6' timber wolf ) , producing more hand forged hunting knives, as well as other projects such as, my plans to make a full size, two seater wooden biplane, long distance snow shoeing, flintlock rifle demonstrations, winter camping  and many other bush craft activities. Other activities can be seen here on my website.
Long term plans for sailing include, all of the great lakes, then to proceed down the St.Lawrence to Lake Champlain, to the Albany and Hudson River, and make my way to New York.

My goal here is to be able to transport Lynx from a land locked lake to Georgian Bay as well to update safety equipment for extended voyaging.
Hoping also to be able to purchase video equipment so that I can share my experience in the highest quality possible.
2x Gopro5 cameras with extra batteries and SD cards, a good microphone, a descent video card & editing software, and possibly a HD drone for aerial video.
