About Milos

Who am I?

Back in the days when I was a student, there was a course called Business Applications Development at my faculty. This was the course where I've created my first serious, at least it was serious at that time, web application. If I leave out the fact that I've done programming in high school, college was the time when I thought to myself, "I'm going to be a Software Developer".

I'm a father of a young boy called Lazar, hence the name of the framework, PlazarJS. He is the source of my inspiration. By joining my community, you will make me one step closer being engaged on PlazarJS full time and working from home. That leads to spending more time giving back to the developers community. It will also allow me to spend more time with my son. In return your opinion will be taken into account when developing PlazarJS documentation website and framework it self. I will post early ideas, before they are actually implemented, here on Patreon so we can discuss it together.

What is PlazarJS?

PlazarJS is a versatile framework built to enrich developers experience in terms of simplicity and speed of application development. It's leaning on Object-Oriented-Principles (OOP) and it's build with plain JavaScript, which means that it has no dependency and can be used as a standalone framework. It's core features are:

  • Modularity
  • Components
  • Mixins
  • Classes
  • Scalability
  • Inheritance
  • Bindings and Templating
  • Inline Templates
  • Pre-Rendered Templates (attach the component to already rendered html)
  • Async Templates and/or ViewModel loading
  • Utils (Array, Object, String...)

I'm supporting the latest version of Bootstrap (v4.1.x) and the framework has a set of controls ready to use out of the box. This fraction is called Bootstrap-UI.

In the future, more CSS frameworks might be supported like Foundation or Bulma, but the main thing that will be built the PlazarJS-UI. This will eliminate the need for any external CSS framework integration. Of course, option to integrate one, if you choose so, will still be available. Typescript support is also a possible side goal, if shown as required by the community.

Maintaining the existing version and developing new features, in other words, keeping PlazarJS alive, takes a significant amount of time and nothing would make me happier than being able to work on PlazarJS full time.

$0 of $200 per month
If this goal is met, I will start implementing PlazarJS-UI
