My personal story is long and complex. A life full of dramatic ups and downs, triumphs and epic disappointments.I decided to take those, what I call ingredients of a life and use those elements to create myself, a man built on life’s lessons.I am an African American male. Age 58, teacher at the early elementary level, but a teacher to all ages.I recently graduated in 2017 from SUNY at Empire State College with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Development.I decedice to return to school after years of exploring and excavating the meaning of life or my idea of it anywhere.I have always been an academic with bold ideas and ambitions. My book is just not a book. It will be the beginning of a platform for me to address to included men of color in a classroom setting. To help usher in a new era of visuals for young people to help them see themselves in people like myself taking on big ideas and learning adventures. I am no longer settling for children books, visuals or schools, that are not inclusive and nurturing in their dialogue when teaching. My whole premise is to have characters and story lines that will included a diverse global framework, but this will also include children with physical challenges as well, children that have far to long have been left out of the collective narrative of learning and mainstream inclusion.I have been published in a collection of an artist’s life’s work, in which I wrote an essay on one of his paintings dealing with race, subjugation, perception and eventual one’s triumphs.

Goals
$0 of $5,000 per month
This important goal will allow me to self publish, which is a very important step in this process.  It allows me to have a product in hand to shop around and sell. And will further the cause towards a multi tier platform into streaming children shows interactive learning apps and speaking engagements positive role models and the impact on visualization in children's books.
