Hello! Thanks for visiting my Patreon!

A few years ago I started writing about chronic illness because I was struggling to figure out how I felt about the things that were happening to my body.

Since then, a lot has happened, and it has been slightly bonkers that so many people have decided to follow me on Instagram and read my ramblings about my life with chronic illness.

I am extremely passionate about raising awareness of the issues faced by young people with chronic illness, and am looking to do more of that and really up my game this year

I am launching a podcast, Spoonie Pyjama Party, which will challenge the stereotypes about chronic illness and young people. I'm sick of the negative online communities, and want to create a place where we can honestly and realistically talk about our challenges and experiences, while every episode interviewing an inspiring person who has made the best of their situation to do something awesome.

I'm also working on a lot of exciting content and projects that will support the community, as well as campaigning for better societal support. I was in the process of setting up the first charity in the UK for young people with chronic illness, but due to time constraints (gotta earn a living!) that has had to be put on hold.

Because of my own health conditions, I am only able to work part-time, which means that all of the things I do online are in the little other time I have available to spend. As many of you know, trying to earn a living when you're often too sick to get out of bed is hard! But my activism is so important to me, and I really want to be able to dedicate more of my time to creating content and working on projects that will really make a difference to the lives of people with chronic illness.

By supporting me on Patreon, you will be helping me to keep writing and working on my projects. If you're joining me now, you'll be playing a huge role in helping get my #spooniepjparty off the ground, for which I will be eternally grateful.

Your support means so much to me, and if you appreciate my work, please do consider donating to help me keep it up.

Thank you!
