The world needs art, now more than ever. I can't say I'm the answer to that, but I'd like to contribute.

I'm Emily Singer, otherwise known as Nonir Amicitia, otherwise known as one half of O.E. Tearmann, (and Ignis-Sassentia in the Final Fantasy XV fandom). I run Wandering Jotun Crafts, have published short stories, and co-write the Aces High, Jokers Wild series. I've been writing fiction, poetry, and more for almost twenty years, but my main goal is to change even a little corner of the world with my words.

Representation matters.

That's what I strive to provide: representation through fiction, poetry, and resources for an inclusive Pagan/Heathen community. My short stories and novel-length projects are all super queer. My poetry is #OwnVoices work or spiritually guided. My nonfiction pieces all emphasize the importance of inclusion and support of marginalized identities.

It's incredible what seeing yourself on the page can do. And in this current political landscape, that's more important than ever.

Help me continue to create diverse written works to entertain, educate, and enfold those who need to see that they're not broken.

Some of what I've done (so far)

  • Published two short stories in curated anthologies (Colfax Kitsune and Glitter Bomb), which are currently available on Amazon as individual pieces.
  • Written for several Final Fantasy XV fanzines
  • Published my own book of poetry, prose, and prayer devoted to the Norse god Loki
  • Am co-writing the Aces High, Jokers Wild series--an ongoing literary/hopepunk novel series set in a near-future dystopian, featuring a diverse cast of characters fighting to make the world a better place
  • Taught multiple workshops at writing conferences and fan conventions
  • Wrote and published a handful of pop culture-inspired spells
  • Helped create and co-hosted a nerdy podcast for five years
  • Launched a business devoted to uplifting marginalized folks with creative and spiritual skills (including my personal favorite: spirit poetry, featured below)

What you get

In return for your support, you get a whole host of cool stuff:
  • Behind-the-scenes looks at processes, character development, world building, and more
  • First looks at stories, poems, spells, etc. before they're published (including fanfic)
  • Advance news of releases, events, and other things coming down the pipeline
  • The chance to provide input on stories and what you'd like to see next
  • My really entertaining attempts to character sketches and reference images
  • Deleted scenes and funny typos that didn't make it into the final version
  • Potentially a private Discord server or monthly writing stream (depending on interest)
  • Patreon-exclusive discounts at the Wandering Jotun Crafts shop
  • One entry to the monthly drawing for a free item/service from the Wandering Jotun Crafts shop (at $5 tier or above)

All patron levels currently get the same perks (except entry to the monthly drawing), so feel free to sign up for whatever you can afford or want to provide.

Help the written word make the world a better place.
