I'm an independent audio software developer based in The North of England and I have been making audio plug-ins since 2003. I started developing plug-ins with graphical programming environments such as Synthedit, but eventually I decided i had to roll up my sleeves and learn C++ in order to develop more professional cross-platform products. I struggled for many years to get started but when I found the plug-in framework IPlug (originally by Cockos, makers of Reaper) I finally managed to get somewhere. Since then I've been maintaining it.

The latest incarnation, IPlug 2, is really starting to take shape. Myself and several other developers have contributed some great new features, as well as totally refreshing the code base. The library is still available to use for free in closed source projects and provides a very easy way to get into making audio plug-ins in my opinion, since the implementation of a plug-in is very simple.

Please consider becoming a patron to support further development, and if you would like to be more directly involved, we are always looking for help, either with the code or documentation.

Okay, next goal 50 patrons! As usual with programming - iPlug 2 is a lot more work than I expected. Got some very exciting features coming (been working really hard on some ~academic papers describing the new features). Now back to coding and currently bogged down with lots of painfully boring stuff. Please do become a patron to help motivate me!
