About One to Grow On

One to Grow On digs into questions you have about agriculture and attempts to understand the complexities and impacts of food production on ourselves and our world. One to Grow On is hosted by resident expert Hallie Casey and her very own dad.

We started One to Grow On because, throughout her six years in the industry, friends, family and virtual strangers alike have repeatedly asked Hallie the same few questions about agriculture. This experience, plus her work with multiple science education non-profits, led her to recognize that there wasn’t a lot of basic agricultural and plant science education available to the general public. 

Our goal with this podcast is to equip our listeners with the tools they need to make well-informed decisions at the grocery store and beyond. And for all of us to have fun and learn something! Thank you so much for helping to make this possible.
