Wayne Bucknor & True Identity are united by the belief that their purpose and true calling are found in obedience to Christ. Formed in 2016 as a result of Wayne’s spirit-led composition challenge to himself to write a new piece of music every day for a year, this group received more and more attention as they worked through the project.

Despite working full-time as a professor and juggling an active family life between his wife and three children, he was able to finish the year with 365 new compositions under his belt.

After performing locally and receiving positive feedback, their hope is to take the songs written and compile them into an album. However, the cost of production hasn’t been cheap and sweat equity isn’t always enough.

They were blessed to receive a generous gift from a donor that allowed the first single to be fully recorded, produced and released across a variety of major platforms.

It is their hope that if you have been blessed by their single “Gave Me One More Day” or any of their other content that you will actively choose to participate in their goal by making a one-time or a recurring financial gift.

This is the beauty of community and we hope you are able to take part.
