Phoenomenous is creating songs about life

I give thanks every day for the great fortune I have had in loving and being loved by friends and family. Recently, I have had the opportunity to see a completely different side of the world we live in. I was also fortunate in that I am able to call it an opportunity.  My life has been changed in many ways. From that experience came both challenges and rewards. It is through this that I learned to play and write music.

My work draws on many experiences. Some of them are mine. Some are from people I have met recently and throughout my life. Many are about refugees. I have seen the war in Syria grow darker and more bloody. I thought about the people I had met and how in so many ways we are all refugees of one sort or another... and what we need most is not fear but love and compassion.

I would, of course, love your help in supporting my continued writing and recording of my songs, but if you are moved to do so, please take a moment to make a donation at the UN Refugee Agency: http://www.unhcr.org/en-us/

I want to get my songs out to as many people as I can. I start off with a goal of 50 as this covers mostly family and friends.
