Chihuahua block in...
It's always exciting to touch brush to panel for the first time when starting a painting. As time goes on, strokes will flesh out the subject. But here, as the first swath of color is still running, this is where much of the magic happens. So much potential exists in these pale unformed patches. Who knows, this painting, the one on my easel, might end up as my best yet. Maybe not, but that "might" is what I strive for. Constantly pushing myself to make the best painting I can. Here's to our best, the unknown, and chihuahuas!!! :)
