Need Story Plots?
Are you an fiction or non-fiction writer needing some idea's or boost in inspiration? Give old time radio a listen! Back in the days before you or I were born or walking around in diapers. Radio was king, and the written word expressed in audio complete with sound effects, inspired many a listener. We now call it nostalgia radio, golden days radio, and old time radio. X Minus One aired on NBC from 24 April 55 until 9 January 58 for a total of 124 episodes. The stories for the show came from two of the most popular science fiction magazines at the time; Astounding and Galaxy. Adaptations of these stories were performed by Ernest Kinoy and George Lefferts. They even wrote a few original stories of their own. The writers of the magazine stories were not well known then but now are the giants of today. These stories came from the minds of Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, and Poul Anderson to name a few. Your support of old time radio is so very important for today's generation. Imagination is almost gone, as evident from the poorly written TV shows and movies. Please help me keep these nostalgic broadcast alive and available on the internet. Become a patron of Mystery Play Internet Radio today! http://www.patreon.com/mpir
