These are some metallic bows I scattered on a piece of pink satin. It's part of my never-ending quest to find shiny things to paint. You can see the satin reflected here and there, along with the sun, some outdoor colors, and the dark wood trim around the living room windows. I'm calling it "Beaux-Arts," which is French for "fine arts," plus it's an architectural style. It's pronounced "bo-ZAHR," (or like "bizarre" with an O, or "bows are"). But more than anything else, it's a good pun. Most people hate puns, but I LOVE THEM, and I came up with this one months ago. And yes, this is a watercolor, medium-sized at around 11"x14".
