"[...]And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; [...]" As I told you in the first part of "The Road (not) Taken" [here! ], I had to choose whether to become an illustrator or try and stay afloat in the Italian comic book industry. I'm still a comic book artist, mind me, and I really like to do a few comics pages from time to time. At that time, instead, I was tired. The comic book industry at the time was shrinking, and even if I was a nation-wide published artist I was "a nobody" and the amount of frustration reached a critical level. I thought I wasn't "good enough", and everything I did at that time made me sick instead of happy; an unhappy artist isn't able to convey good feelings on her art, and that was on the verge of starting a vicious cycle. So, one day, I rolled up my sleeves and started working on something else...
