UFO Game: Nuts and Bolts
I'm now prototyping real level geometry, which will be a little more involved than what I had while developing the UFO and the eye sphere. This is where I start putting together the nuts and bolts of gameplay. Since the game is going to focus on a "hide and seek" kind of interaction, I'm coming up with ways for the player to conceal themselves, and ways for the aliens to fight back. This includes actions such as shuttering windows and closing doors. The aliens may have a few tricks up their sleeve, but I'm not going to spoil it... I'll have more videos and pics soon.
