HELLO :D

I'm Reem! I'm so glad you've stopped by to check my Patreon page!
These truly are exciting times, where humans such as yourself can choose to fund for creative artists all over the world <3 It's just too good to be true, so thank you dear supporter.

I'm a writer, artist and an avid reader who talks about the books she reads on the internet.
I graduated in May 2016 with a Bachelors in Interior Design.

I spend my days alternating between writing, designing artworks for my SOCIETY6 & RED BUBBLE shops, eating, sleeping, tutoring and reading.

This Is What My Dream Job Looks Like:

  • I'm a well known author.
  • I've published a great number of fantasy novels as well poetry books. *sigh* to publish a book..
  • I go on book tours stopping by different cities in different countries :D
  • I have the pleasure of meeting my readers and fangirling with them while also answering their questions.
  • Besides being a writer, I'm always getting involved in different artistic projects.
  • I'm still designing digital artworks and uploading them on SOCIETY6 and RED BUBBLE and I'm more successful than I've ever been, hopefully.
  • I help out in different philanthropic projects <3
  • I travel the world like a local.
  • I own my very own bookstore cafe.
  • I've launched my app (idea not to be mentioned for copyright infringement) and hopefully it has taken off and really added something to people's lives and their personal creative flow.

How I Heard About Patreon

I was actually watching one of my favorite Booktubers some days ago (Yes those are Youtubers who talk books, nothing better than that!). Her name is Ariel Bisset. In one of her videos titled, "Becoming A Freelancer." she talked about her decision to become a freelancer in bubbling excitement, saying how this was the decision for her and how it suited her perfectly. She went ahead and listed the number of projects/ways she would go about doing that. The last method she talked about was Patreon. Now, before that I have NEVER heard of Patreon.
I immediately googled it, saw what it was about and thought to myself that this was simply TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! Upon further research though, I got the courage to finally take the plunge.

What I Have To Offer

I basically want to continue to do the things that bring me and others joy and I want to be able to do it without stressing about the financial cost.

With Writing I've mentioned before that I would love to share my literary work with the public one day and to discuss my stories with complete strangers. Furthermore, and it would be the epitome of greatness, I hope through my stories and my characters to inspire change in however shape or form, to lift someone's spirits, to encourage them to create their own worlds or to inspire them to face certain personal challenges. Whatever it may be, I want to leave my mark in this world for anyone to see and to learn from. Hopefully...

With Designing I've seen the reactions that some of my followers had when checking out my designs, especially my bookish designs and there was some actual love there :P Plus, as a reader myself, I know what it's like to immerse yourself in relatable bookish designs that speak specifically to your reader-soul. It brings you joy, and it's something that you share with other people like you. If there's anything I learned from the online bookish community is that there is so much relentless love and support. And I want to continue to be in that circle and to help spread the love of reading. And so I would love to continue designing bookish designs for Society6 and Red Rubble. I actually asked some of my followers if they had any ideas for bookish designs inspired from well known books and I got pretty great ideas and sketches that I SERIOUSLY can't wait to try out and bring to life!

With Youtubing I want my channel to promote reading and to promote good causes that come about from the books I read and I want it to be a channel for discussions. For meaningful, soul-food discussions.

With your help, I'm able to:

- Purchase a new functional laptop.
- Purchase Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign.
- Upload more designs as a result on both my shops regularly.
- Host giveaways on my main Instagram account @reemobooks
for books, my bookish designs and more.
- Write my novel.
- Look for reps for my shops.
- Upload better quality pictures for Instagram.
- Upload better quality videos for my Youtube channel.
- Create an app idea that I think could be revolutionary.

If you've reached this point, thanks a million. Truly.
