About

I tell stories from people who started mobile meditation spaces in trailers; meet for worship in bars and public parks; take over laundromats while celebrating Communion on the dryer, and organize churches to fight gentrification in poor neighborhoods. The new shape of American spiritual life is emerging: help me tell the stories of the people who are making it a reality.

I provide an in-depth look at the day to day lives of our most innovative spiritual practitioners, as they cultivate new forms of community on the religious margins of our country. In the words of Beth Estock, coach with the Epicenter Group and co-author of Weird Church, my podcast is “The Book of Acts for the 21st century”, a ground level, as-it-is-happening, spiritual topography of the new church that is being birthed from the ashes of Christendom, told in the words of the people who are doing the work themselves, from  Reports offers a deep look into the landscape of the spiritual pioneer’s soul: the ups and downs of their ministry, the surprising lessons God has taught them, and how they cultivate a sustainable spiritual life.

Want to hear first-hand what you'd be supporting? Check out my conversations with dynamic church planters, like Christian Coon of Urban Village or Rebecca Priest of Into Silence; prominent religious reformers, like Larry Duggins of the Missional Wisdom Foundation or Rabbi David Markus of Bayit House; or enjoy the stories of  national-level authors; like Wayne Jacobsen (The Shack, Finding Church) or Dan Wolpert (Creating a Life With God).

Goals
$161 of $225 per month
I am able to launch Season Five of Reports: an eighteen (or so) episode season featuring conversations with the most exciting spiritual pioneers working across the country.

And believe me, I've got *ideas* for Season Five.

[Note: All these goals are also dependent on which organizations decide to sponsor my podcast. These are the amounts based on my current level of organizational sponsorship, but all of these numbers will go *down* if more organizations come on board!]
