It's all Fred and Ginger's fault.

At a very young age I saw my first Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movie "The Gay Divorcee" - and was instantly hooked on the glamorous clothing and art deco setting.

Since then, my passion has been historic and vintage fashion.

Now, with 35+ years of experience in sewing, drafting and designing historic and vintage garments, I would love to share my knowledge and extensive archives with you.

Dating from 1864 through the mid-1950's the collection includes commercially produced patterns, fashion journals, pattern catalogs, sewing instruction manuals, pattern drafting systems, and a trove of stunning images.

Join me on this journey as we explore and create the beautiful styles of past eras!
