Hello and welcome!
I'm a private pilot based at Barton airport near Manchester, UK. I mostly fly EV-97 Eurostar and Ikarus C42 microlight aeroplanes. When I got my NPPL in August 2017 my wife bought me a GoPro camera so I could film my flying adventures. Since then I've bought more equipment allowing me to make (what I hope are) interesting and fun videos of my flights.

I've been able to fly to some cool places and share the joy of flying with friends and family which is really exciting. As we come into my first summer as a qualified pilot, I'm really looking forward to visiting lots of new airfields, welcoming new cockpit guests and making lots of interesting videos.

It's a time consuming process, with each video taking me around 12 hours to edit. I've also invested quite a lot of money in cameras, audio recording equipment, computers and software.
As a patreon of my channel, you'll be directly helping me to make even better and more exciting vidoes, so thank you.

Just to be clear, I won't be using any of the funds donated in Patreon to pay for my flying - It's an expensive hobby but that's my choice. The money will only be used to create better videos.

Official 'Rory On Air' cap!
$27 or more per month
You've seen me wearing mine in the plane, now you can have one too! Get yourself a snazzy black, red and white 'Rory On Air' branded cap. (I'm only able to post to the UK at the moment. Drop me a message if you are elsewhere in the world and would like one.)

UPDATE: The intention is you pledge $27 (£20) one month for the cap and you can change your donation or cancel completely after that if you wish. I'm not expecting an ongoing donation, but there's currently no way I can see to make the caps available as a one off payment so you'd need to sign up for this and then change your donation after the first payment has gone. Cheers!

I'd really like to have 3 high quality fixed cameras during each flight. I'm already working on the paperwork I need to legaly fly with a camera mounted under the wing of the Eurostar but I also need a third GoPro. This is where you come in...
