My story and overview
I became vegan in 2007, and it definitely changed my life. It was like seeing beyond the matrix in the eponymous movie - I no longer saw food or products where the others did - I saw feeling and innocent beings being tortured and killed, and they needed my help. Shortly after, I started making changes on Wikipedia, to add more information on veganism and related subjects.

A few years later I became involved in translating a number of YouTube videos from English to Russian, hoping to fill the void of information in a country where very few people can speak English well. Apart from my first and most visible work described below, I've translated videos of Dr. Michael Greger and two other videos featuring arguably the most prominent vegan activist, Gary Yourofsky.

Over the years, I've also done a lot of proofreading for Life Changing Videos, previously known as GaryTV on Facebook. At the time of the writing, the page has over 8 million likes, and their videos have been some of the most viewed on Facebook, with one having been viewed over 500 million times.
Now that the most important subjects are covered by my translation work, I aim for proofreading to educate more and more people on animal rights and veganism.

I've never monetized any of my work - in fact, I always agreed to let other people post the result of my work to their channels, which is why they're all published across a number of channels, including that of Gary Yourofsky.

And while I wouldn't do it for the money, a personal conversation on my situation in life convinced me to create this page and ask for donations, simply so that I can buy food to eat. Sadly, despite my experience, I've never been legally employed, I have no income and there are rather serious personal issues that get in the way of changing that. I can address this part through private messages but I would rather not have it for all the wide web to see.

What is the best example of my work?
Probably my Russian translation of the famous Georgia Tech speech by Gary Yourofsky, with over 260 000 views, multiple adaptations and a lot of positive feedback on YouTube, including several confessions from people willing to make a change. For it to become a reality, I first contacted a person close to Gary, then completely re-wrote the original translation and eventually got in touch with the woman that agreed to do the voice-over. A couple of years later, the video was featured and pinned in the largest vegan community on the 3 most visited website in Russia.
Tiers
A can of beans
$1 or more per month
6 bags of rice or beans
$10 or more per month

This will allow me to buy six small bags of rice or beans

12 bags of rice or beans
$20 or more per month

This will allow me to buy twelve small bags of rice or beans. Variety is key, so the title is just for tracking and the actual money will go towards buying other types of food, depending on the total amount

18 bags of rice or beans
$30 or more per month

This will allow me to buy 18 small bags of rice or beans. Variety is key though, so the title is just for tracking and the actual money will go towards buying other types of food.

A bag of rice or beans each day
$50 or more per month

Considering that this is the price of 30 bags of rice or beans where I live, the amount of money will allow me to buy one each day.
