Hey there! Thanks so
much for your interest in our Patreon! Seasick is one of the things that brings
me the most happiness in my life, and I'm super pleased to live in an era where
I can share it with a big pool of people (thanks, Internet!). Actually, I
basically feel like the luckiest person on the planet.
What the fish is Seasick?
On the off chance
you've stumbled upon this page without knowing what Seasick is, I'm happy to
explain it! Seasick is a free
webcomic where a kid named Max being dragged underwater by a large wave and meets a sea-dwelling girl named Mina. He meets her friends, and joins her in school. They go on silly adventures together. Pretty fun! You can read it for free here
. It's been slow
going so far - it's been around for a few years now, but never updated three
times a week - but it's driven me mad with waiting, so I've sped up the process
a little bit by increasing the update time. I hope readers like that as much as I do.
How does Patreon help you?
Patreon is a pretty
cool thing that lets you support me and Jesse (who helps me loads with
Seasick)! You pay a recurring donation once a month, and I respond by giving
you access to my Patreon rewards. Besides the 'wow, money, nice' aspect of it, it really just helps me feel supported. It's a great way to give back to creators that you appreciate. Basically, I ask that you support me if a) you can
and it would put you under no financial distress, and b) you have a strong desire to support Seasick and see it grow.
Wait, hold the conch shell. Rewards?
Yes! Please check out our rewards on the white column on the right.
What will you include in your Activity Feed?
I aim to provide a lot of content to the Activity Feed when Seasick relaunches later this year - stay tuned!
I love Seasick, but I can't/don't want to donate to the Patreon.
That's 100% fine! I really don't want to pressure anyone or make anyone feel bad if they can't. There are loads of projects that I personally wish I could donate to but I can't right now. It doesn't mean I don't love them. Your support by reading and being interested in the comic means a lot to me and is the primary reason I upload Seasick to the Internet! If you want to go to the extra mile, get your friends to read it, too! But seriously, you don't owe me anything just because you like it. I will never put anything necessary to enjoy Seasick behind a pay wall.
