STEPHANIE MCCOYis creating Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poems, Travel Articles & Food News
Join me for an adventure in my author world. Get the inside track with my monthly newsletter. It may include novel progress, travel tips, food reviews, and research results. I'll mix it up and make it interesting.
In addition to above and my heartfelt thanks, I'll tell you some of my best tips for researching people/locations and hard to find information. Learn how I found a dead man in Los Angeles that none of his relatives could find. I love researching....almost too much!
All of the above and early access to my Constance Fenimore Woolson Blog before others see it. You're going to want to know this forgotten American author. She was more popular than Henry James and left America for Europe to write in 1879. Plus, the first 3 supporters will get a hand written postcard of Italy sent to you!
About STEPHANIE MCCOY
With your support I will be able to research and complete the next three novels in-the-works: The She-Novelist in Venice, My Darling Hattie Belle, and Lost in Ocala. Along the way there will be stories, a poem or two, an article or essay here and there. Like most writers I work in many genres, but the themes in my work are often of women whose stories need to be told, or whose place in history needs to be established and honored. Time is my companion and sometimes my enemy, but writing every day is the goal.
Though my roots are in the South and in California, I have lived abroad and traveled to Shanghai, St. Petersburg, Suva, Hamburg, Wilmington, and Venice. I am drawn to water cities. They inspire my work and continue to inspire me. And on some of those trips I gathered ideas, snapshots, bits of dialog. In other cites I researched current and future creative projects.
So join me on this journey, and follow my path through posts and updates, fun food news and quirky travel reports. Sign on today and travel with me!
