About Stuart McNair

Stuart McNair is a singer/songwriter and
multi-instrumentalist based in
New Orleans. He plays American roots
music influenced by Cajun, Zydeco,
Bluegrass, and Country.

Stuart has taken his songs all over,
from the Bluebird in Nashville
to CBGB's in New York...from Fringefest
in Edinburgh, Scotland, to the London
pub scene during the 2012 Olympics.
He has collaborated and toured with a
range of artists, recently creating live
recordings backed by Zydeco Jam Band
Donna the Buffalo.

Called "one of the South's musical treasures"
for his ability to embody Southern musical
traditions and weave them into Earth-friendly,
life-affirming, uplifting songs, Stuart has seen
his songs landing on AAA, NPR, and other charts.
His original songs, called "dazzling", "uplifting",
and "glorious", deliver an Earth-friendly message
and deal with love, life, and communion with nature.

"Sends a shiver down the spine. The gloriousness is
downright outrageous. A cosmic journey."
- Maverick Magazine, London, UK

"Cosmic thoughts and unforgettable, beautiful songs.
Like Johnny Cash singing the Upanishads."
-Mobile Bay Monthly

"He could be the next Ryan Adams or Wilco"
- City Magazine, Tuscaloosa, AL

"Guaranteed to get your feet moving, get you thinking, and
even make you laugh"
- Wildy's World Review

"This is a much-needed reemergence of heartfelt,
quality Southern music."
- Dateline Alabama
$0 of $2,000 per month
With $2,000, I'll be able to finish my new recording project! That will cover recording costs (studio time, guest musicians, mixing, mastering) and a run of CD's! This project is half-way there, and this will put it over the top!
