This 750 square foot space houses an array of resources, including reference books, a book exchange, art and craft supplies, collections of rocks, bones, and bugs to study, a zine library, homesteading and DIY materials, games, wi-fi, and more. We’re completely volunteer-run.

Rather than adhering to a particular pedagogical ideology or telling people what they should be learning and when, Sugarloaf Center provides a welcoming space and an array of resources that support community members in following their own interests, whether they are 2 or 82 years old.

The center is maintained as a "safer" space to have difficult conversations, cultivate community, organize around important issues, share skills, and generally learn from each other. We hope to serve a diverse variety of learners and community participants and are excited about cross-pollination between different groups and generations that are often siloed in everyday life.

Sugarloaf Resource Center is a semi-autonomous project of the Sugarloaf Community Association, a 501c3 nonprofit and 7-acre land project. All of your donations will be tax-deductible!

Goals
$41 of $500 per month
If we could make at least this much monthly, we would be able to contribute what we see as our fair portion of utilities, land taxes, insurance, and other fees for the Sugarloaf Community Association, plus our individual internet and phone bills.
