About

Hey there, welcome to our Patreon page.

Who are we?

We are Ricky & Simone, a south African couple who decided to purchase a old & neglected 36.5ft Dean Catamaran which was formally built in South Africa, & breathe new life into her. We ripped her completely to bare hull, by removing every last inch of rotten wood, stainless steel & corroded bolts and nuts out of her and starting from a fresh. Before we decided to embark on this journey of #boatlife, Ricky was a mechanical engineer & I (Simone) had just completed my post grad in Psychology, and we decided to add to our knowledge by including some fiberglass, epoxy/polyester resin and lots of blood, sweat and tears to our resume. This has by far been the most challenging task we have ever had to endure but also the most rewarding and we look forward to having you join us on our adventure & become part of our family & meeting you guys on our journey.

Lots of love,
Ricky & Simone
