Hi there. You may remember me from my long-running Sportsflicks series in Vice Sports and The Classical, and also as a long-time family member or friend. My writing career has been on hiatus for about the last six months as I have been recovering from a major depressive episode, and now that I have been furloughed from my current job, I need some sort of income to get me through the summer as I look for full-time employment, and to pay off tax debts I incurred thanks to my now-dormant side hustle.

I am not asking for much, only a few dollars a month from those who can afford it to get a newsletter and a movie review or two. You get to support a friend, while that friend gets to opine on such cinematic classics as So Fine and Looker. I may scale this back or expand upon this as my financial and vocational fortunes change, but this will give me immediate relief as well as an excuse to break my writer's block. Thank you very much for your time.
