Parent-Teacher Conference
per month
At this tier you are phoning it in as a parent. Barely skimming by. Your kid's teacher leaves messages and privately wonders how much money you stashed away for his college fund. The only time they see you is during the parent teacher conferences, and not even all of them.
Do Your Kid's Homework
per month
You've gone from barely showing up at your kid's school events to doing his homework. The grade 8 teacher is wondering why there's a Francis Farmer reference in an essay about summer break.
Legacy Family
per month
Lah-dee-dah. If only my grandparents invented the famous Westingtonlowaster I'd have Ivy League legacy money too. Those things are classss-y!

At this support tier you are helping transform this project by contributing to better access to animation and editing.

Members of this tier get a Thank You mention at the end of every video! Thank you!

I ask smart people a simple question, I explore it in depth and try to make something usable to teach others, to think about, to practice.

What is missing from our civics education?

With this Patreon page I am kindly asking for support to help facilitate my my exploration and analysis, interviews and podcasts on subjects from how the Cold War affects us every day, to how we can live better fusing hunter-gatherer principles with our modern times and technology.

Civics at its core is about group problem-solving, and for both modern society and whatever comes next we will need the tools to overcome the short-circuiting of human nature that has led to the toxicity of current politics.

Thank you.
