About The Forties Project

I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart. All of these elements brought me to start The Forties Project.

At some point, I just knew that life could be different from what I was experiencing. I did the work to look into my heart and see what was there - for better or worse. I realized the honesty of my devotion to the Divine and that part of that meant living life authentically. Being who I really am. And you know what I thought about a lot? Snowboarding. Yep, being in the mountains and breathing the fresh air and living a lifestyle that feels more in line with who I am.

In totality, I have selected six projects to complete in my 40s. You know, those things you daydream about that you might do someday? Well, these are them and I am taking the steps to make them happen:
1. Live in an RV for a Year
2. Live in Italy for a Year
3. Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro
4. Run a 50-mile Race
5. Take a Surfing Clinic
6. Appear in a Snowboarding Movie

I have created a blog to document the truth of my experiences as I walk through these next eight years. I am open to changing my ideas if that comes about naturally, and yet I am ever dedicated to living authentically. I will not settle for anything less than what feels good for the soul.

Living authentically may require that we change the way we earn income. It makes sense that we support one another in the work that we really feel called to do. I so appreciate anyone who considers contributing to support my blog and the curated experience of my life. Take a look at the support options and please message me if any questions.

I am so excited to share this journey with anyone it resonates with!
