About

The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment is Oakland’s Video Game Museum.

The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment is a non-profit 501c3 located in Oakland, focused on educating the public as to how video games are made. We host free classes for kids on technology skills (programming, art, audio design) as well as community events, exhibitions and lectures about software development and video game history.

We have converted our Patreon to directly support our efforts to preserve offline MMOs, starting with Habitat. Thus far, we have brought that game back for free online play at neohabitat.org.

We need your help to cover our server costs. All funds raised here will be used for that purpose, and any additional funds will directly support the MADE's educational operations: Free programming classes for kids and community events.

Thank you for your continued support!
