Pop up eSports gaming lounge held every school holidays on the Sunshine Coast. Just for gamers 10-17, to get together with friends, and neighbours to play popular console games, win prizes and find ‘The Player’.
Each tournament sells out quick so make sure you grab your ticket early to secure a spot and for your chance to take out ‘The Player’ and achieve eSports stardom!
Utilising the The Hive Business Space, we have access to the uncontended internet and great facilities in a central location.
Encouraging kids to interact and socialise, rather than socialising through online systems and non-face-face interactions. The event is designed so that participants will experience a safe, welcoming and competitive forum for entertainment, fun and excitement.
All the necessary equipment (games, consoles, and controllers) will be provided. If participants would rather use their own controller, they are encouraged to bring them.
The goal for each participant is to win the race/game or get the most number of points in the allocated time. The individual with the most wins/points will be rewarded with prizes at the conclusion of the event as well as being named ‘The Player’.
We aim to encourage positive relationships and team building skills among the youth, by hosting an event where kids of similar interest are able to interact with each other in an environment they are somewhat familiar with.
Goals
$0 of $500 per month
Our goal is to attract players from all levels and games interests.  We would like to run these events every school holidays and more regularly. Once we reach $500 we will organise a September challenge.
