Tic Tac Toe 101 is a Lebanese Robotics team in the FIRST TECH CHALLENGE (FTC) world-wide competition.
Our Team consists of 9 members and 2 coaches.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1989 by Dean Kamen to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology, through designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.

FIRST Tech Challenge teams are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.

As participants in FIRST programs, it is the 9th year since our first participation (since its issue in Lebanon). We started in the FIRST LEGO LEAGUE (FLL) Competition which is a lower level from the FTC. And since then, generations have passed in our teams and experience has grown. We were the first Lebanese team to win an international trophy in all Robotics field (Germany 2012).
Our Achievements:
  • Category Awards in the National Championship 8 times (2011-2012-2013-2015-2016-2017-2018) in FLL.
  • Category Awards in The Arabia Championship 4 times (2012-2013-2016) in FLL.
  • Category Awards in the Open European Championship (2012-2013-2015-2017) in FLL.
  • Category Awards in the World Festival held in USA 2 times (2016 in FLL) - (2018 in FTC).
  • 5 times National Championships runner-ups (2014-2015-2016-2017-2018) in FLL
  • National Champions in FTC (2018) for the first time in our history.
  • Arabia Champions runner-ups twice (2014-2015) in FLL.
  • Arabia Champions once (2016) in FLL.
  • World Champions runner-ups in St. Louis, Missouri (2016) for the first time in our history in FLL.
  • We came back with an award from the World Festival held in Houston, Texas for the first time in the Lebanese and Arabian history in the FTC (2018).
(The category awards could be achieved alongside the champions awards)

This year, the 2019 season, with are high hopes, as we upgrade our level of competition, we aim to reach a better place in the world festival, as we're looking for sponsors to aid us and fundraisers to make our mission possible.

The cost of all our requirements are divided into:
  • $275 for registration
  • $500 for our robot materials
  • $1000 travelling fees per person
  • $300 event registration and additional costs.
Our priority is to cover the Robot materials fees in order to achieve our success in the National Championship, and then cover the travelling fees after our qualification for the World Festival held in Houston.

When we reach our goal, we'll create a specific tab on our website to feature 1 patron each week for a permanent time, alongside feasting 1 patron each week on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to support all patrons and help them raise their voices and reach their goals.

We appreciate your support.
