About Sam Almera

Hello, Patrons! My name is Sam Almera, a local 20-something-year-old from California. My goal is to create and finish a young adult dragon fantasy novel!
I have been fascinated with dragons my whole life, and I know I'm not alone. Many books I've consumed over the years about the subject are fairly childish, or, at least make me feel silly to check out at the library (instead of an actual 10-year-old that it was written for). One of the last feelings I want is to be embarrassed by the creatures that have helped to shape my imagination today. I especially want to help others finally find stories that make them feel the same way.
This is what I will do! I am going to create a story for us: the other 20-something-year-olds who don't want to keep hiding from these fantastical worlds anymore. I sincerely hope there are others like me who trust me with this story. Thank you for checking out my page as well, and I can't wait to work with those who do.
Goals
$0 of $100 per month
I'll finish writing at least a novella to show my patrons what the finished product will be like.
