Hi I'm Kate, Jim & I would like to thank you for checking out our Patreon page. We are excited to share our life on the farmstead with you.

Our mission is to produce food and products that are grown, raised and made by us on our little farmstead. We currently raise, grow or forage about 70% of our food from our land. Your support will help us make that 100%. We wish to teach others and to share the beauty, the work, the struggles and the benefits of living a more sustainable life. Kate calls it homesteading and Jim calls it prepping. No matter what you call it we hope you learn, share and enjoy what you find here on our Patreon page.

By supporting us on Patreon you will be the first to see what's happening on the homestead, such as when new babies are born or when canning season has arrived and we are inundated with produce to process. You will get patron only access to recipes, how to's and more. We hope you will join us on our journey, sharing the trials, tribulations and victories with us.
Tiers
Worker Bee
$1 or more per month
It is said that many hands make light the work. It take thousands of bees to build a strong hive. Thank you!
Farm Foodie
$5 or more per month
In addition to a HUGE thank you from Jim and Kate you get a PDF of our Farmstead Hare and Fare Cookbook "Cooking on the Farm" and access to a monthly post about cooking. It may be a recipe of our own creation or one we dug out of an old cook book as we uncover forgotten recipes of the past. Confession time - Kate has a bit of an obsession with old recipes and cookbooks and Jim happily enables her.

If you have a long lost recipe you would like us to try? Please reach out to us, we are always up for something new.

Farmstead Forager
$10 or more per month

In addition to our thanks, access to a monthly cooking post and a PDF of our cookbook. After six months we will send you a goodie basket from the farm!

(Please note any allergies when you sign up)

Farm Hand
$30 or more per month
Not only do you get our thanks, access to a monthly cooking post & a PDF of our cookbook and a small goodie basket from the farm.....After 6 months you get name one of our newborn goats!

The only stipulation is that the name must be food related. Everyone on the farmstead even the barn cats have food names. :-)

Homestead Hero/Heroine
$100 or more per month
They say go big or go home, if you are so excited about what we do and choose to support our farmstead at $100 or more a month you will receive all prior tier benefits and after six months we will invite you out for a tour of the farm and a farm raised home cooked meal. (Transportation and overnight lodging if required are the Patrons responsibility)
Goals
2% complete
We spend a significant amount each month on feed for our animals. Knowing our monthly feed bill was covered would allow us to instead invest funds into the farmstead; such as building better outbuildings for our animals, expanding our pasture, or building the greenhouse we've been dreaming about.
