I'm Jack, you've most likely come here from youtube, so you know I make, nerf modifications as a hobby, if you didn't know that, should probably check out that first. What I do in nerf requires a lot of funding, springs, tools, puttys, glues, blasters, paints, they are all very expensive. I still go to school, and don't have job, so all the money that I spend on nerf comes from money I get from doing chores, or birthday money, which is limited, as projects that I often do cost a lot of money. For example, say you want to deck out a stryfe, you would spend £20 on the base blaster, £15 on the motors, £35 on the cage, thats £70 for a high performing stryfe. Next, you might put on a body kit, which is about £40 minimum, depending on which one you go for. If you decide to go with paint, thats another £20 depending on which paint brands you use, and if you already have the paints. If you want clear parts, thats another £70, and for a stock, thats £20. If you want a full auto or select fire kit, thats about £40 too. Now, as we can see, a high level mod can get very expensive very quickly, with the one if just described totaling at £260, which for me, is quite a lot of money. So even just a few pounds can really help bring down the cost for me to make what I do.
