The Rugg Brothersis creating Videos
-Access to our patron only stream, which we will updade and interact with regularly (we will use it even more than our facebook page). On there, we'll post fun stuff like unreleased rough demo's of songs we're working on which you won't hear anywhere else (so you can hear how our songs start as just a badly recorded idea and eventually turn into something much more fun), photos, drawings, fun facts, and other interesting things you may enjoy. We will still post some things for the public, but most of it will only be able to be seen by our beloved patrons like you!
-Access to a free downloadable Mp3 version of every new video we post to youtube (whether it's music or non-music), so that you can listen to it whenever you desire. You'll find them attached to a "Patrons only" post on our activity feed very soon after we post each video.
-You'll be first to know about any upcoming shows and will get first dibs if there are tickets being sold for them. We'll post any info about upcoming shows here first, before anyone else even knows about it.
-First to know about upcoming shows and ticket sales.
-Access to a free downloadable Mp3 version of every new video we post to youtube.
-Access to our patron only stream: Includes exclusive downloadable demo's, photos, etc.
About The Rugg Brothers
Hi everyone! We're Rob Harmon and Ryan Marchand. Two best friends that been writing music and making videos of nonsense since we were kids. We had lost track of doing these things for a few years while real life got in the way, but have recently been craving that thrill we would get from creating things to show people. And with all of these new ways to share them, we're very excited to get back into it in a whole new way.
We started posting some original Christmas songs to Youtube during the holiday seasons. People have been very kind with their words, and have said they would like us to post much more videos and songs throughout the whole year. And, as it turns out, we do have a ton of songs and videos that we would love for people to actually hear and see.
It just so happens that this new website was created at the exact time we are ready to finally create more content. I want to thank Jack Conte for coming up with such an amazing idea to help everyday people do what they love, and actually earn a little money while doing it. Working for a living makes it very difficult to find the time to create videos, but now, thanks to this great new home for creators, it opens up so many doors and opportunities for anyone with a passion.
If you're willing to fund our videos in any way (Even just a dollar sounds amazing. You've got no one to impress here), we would be extremely grateful for your support. Just seeing that someone could be willing to pay any amount for something we have made, is exactly the motivation we need to continue to put out more content and continue sharing more with people who enjoy it. Of course we still would have done it for free, but money is sometimes nice to have. Sometimes... Just give us your money, it'll make you happy. I promise.
Every patron will have access to our Patron Only Stream, which I'm sure we will fill up with fun nonsense and magic. We'll have free downloads of the songs from each music video on there for you to have for keeps. Plus other roughly recorded demo's of songs we're working on. Maybe we'll have some drawings or photos on there. Things you might like. No big whoop.
We're very new to this, so we'll have to start small. But we will get some more fun and interactive rewards later on, for people who may have a little more money to throw around. As for right now. We would be absolutely happy with anything. We're just excited to finally show the world what we love to do. Thank you tons for checking us out. Be sure to find some other people on this site fund as well. There's a lot of very talented folks out there.
1st GOAL: If we reach a goal of $5 pledged per video, we will make it a point to start filming videos for all of our other songs! Sure, we love the Holidays and making music for them, but we also have a lot of other music we'd love to share. With boring "real life" jobs always getting in the way, it's hard to find the time to make videos as often as we would like to. $5-a-video may not SOUND like a lot of money, but it may be just the kick in the pants we need to make sure we do more with sharing our music. Just to know anyone out there cares enough to pay a small amount to help us create, would mean a whole lot! You gotta start somewhere, right?
